MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND!!!!

So I just wanted to let EVERYONE know that today is the day that Christopher and I physically met.    We decided to meet at Boston's at Northpoint.  We both pulled in roughly at the same time,,, and we both kind of waited to get out of the car.  Christopher got out first,,, we met.  It was great.  He is so cute!!!!  We both brought pictures of all the things we like and we shared an ice cream sundae.  It was a great first date.  We were inseparable pretty much after that.

I have just come across the notebook I had made and put ALL of the letters we have written to each other,,, it is great looking at that.
The first thing that comes to mind when I read all of these is how great with words Christopher is.  He has a way of painting a picture so you are really there or know how he feels.
*WHAT I LOVE ABOUT CHRISTOPHER*
I love his adoring eyes
I love his real laugh- the one where he has really cracked up
I love his friendly smile
I love his constant creativity
I love to see his sillyness with kids
I love that he is a great role model for our girls
I love to feel like I am racing him and he has let me won on the dirt bikes
I love he can pop a wheelie!
I love his consistent wardrobe- easy to buy for :-)
I love that he can build anything,, really anything
I love that he can fix anything as well
I love that he wants to be in the outdoors
I love that he wants to go places
I love that he loves taking pictures as much as me
there is more and the list goes on and on,,
I just wanted to share with everyone as well as him and I know I don't do it enough.

I LOVE YOU CHRISTOPHER!!!!!!

CRAFTY,,,,

I have been a little crafty lately.......
This little bag I whipped up for Quincy,,, she keeps getting in to all or any bag and puts it over her shoulder and carries it around.  It is very cute,, so I thought I would make one of her own.
I also found a really cute book on crochet that has patterns for kids.  It is adorable,, but the problem I had was,, I didn't really know how to do much more than your basic row stitch,,, so I   read a book and followed the directions on these other stitches and WAA LAA,, (LOL,, can't figure out to write that )  this is what I came up with,, I am going to make a miniature blanket. :-)  Any orders?
Now here we have a few beaded bracelets that the girls and have done,,, we have to finish but are very fun.
And of course you have my other craft as a FAUX FINISH painter,,,, This is the entry way to a Condo unit I am painting.  The unit is 2000 sq.ft and I have painted over half of those walls.  It looks amazing.

So I guess you can say I have been a little CRAFTY  :-)

VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED

so our first trip to the Emergency Room.  Quincy had cut her thumb on the cast iron frame of our fire place.  Christopher had taken it off to clean the glass and set it off to the right on the hearth of the fireplace.  Well ,,, Quincy came up behind,,, without him seeing and grabbed the piece,,, it is extremely heavy and it fell on to her hand smooshing it between the frame and the rocks.

Well after a quick visit to Urgent Care,, which by the way is never urgent,,, we had to go to Holy Family Hospital where we got right in to the fast track and were helped immediately.  I am so thankful,,, that waiting room was completely packed with a wait of atleast 2 hours.
Quincy did great,, we did a quick x-ray to verify nothing was broken and then had to papoose her to stitch her up.

She is doing great!!! I had taken the bandage off to replace and she wanted to play with them.  We will keep it covered obviously so she doesn't pull them out.  So far so good,, it looks good and she is well.

where is Quincy?

Today I was cleaning up around the place when I didn't exactly know where Quincy was,, I knew she couldn't be far,,, it isn't that big of space,,, but it was quiet,,, after a minute of looking,, I found her.

Pretty cute-  she was smart-- she found a couple of comfy pillows and was resting ;-)  Great Idea!!

Avery's 8th Birthday

We did a little party with Avery's soccer friends yesterday,,, we played games,, ate lots of junk food, and had a good time.  One of our games was pretty funny,,,, we named it the "Whip Cream Facial"  the game is that I put a piece of bubble gum in a pie tin and fill it up with whip cream. The kids race to their tin,, put their face in, (no hands),,, find the piece of gum,, chew up and blow a bubble. First one done is the winner.  Well it is hilarious,,,, not sure who won,, Avery ended up shoving her tin in Kade's face and then they chased each other around throwing the whip cream.  It is pretty fun ,,,,, glad we have the shop for that game :-)  Easy clean up.

MY FAVORITE COOKIES

These are my absolute favorite cookies.  They are NO-BAKE cookies.  Easy and fast!!!!  Problem is though,,, they don't last long.  I can barely get them on the wax paper :-)  the only thing that keeps me from eating them all done before they hit the wax paper is that they are SO HOT ,, they burn your mouth.
Anyway,,, I am sure you all have made these at some point or another,, and I had as well but forgot that I LOVED them.
Here is the recipe if you would like to whip some up!!!

NO BAKE COOKIES
~1 cup Sugar
~1/4 cup Milk
~1/4 cup Butter
~1/4 cup Cocoa Powder
Stir constantly ,, bring to boil and keep stirring for 2 minutes.
Remove from Heat and add
~1/2 cup oats
~1/2 cup coconut
Mix it in and then place on wax paper to cool.

I usually add a little more of the oats and coconut. And I am sure you can add lots of other things,, I made these last night,, and of course they are gone,,,,,,,,by me :-)

SNOW PARTY!!!!

We had ourselves a little sledding party last week before all the snow melted. It was gorgeous and fun.  Here are a few pics of it. There were so many goods ones. I will have to post more.  I am sorry for not keeping up on the blog,,, I am going to make it a GOAL to do it more often than I  have.  How about atleast once a week?
